Students at Warialda Public School are encouraged to use the various Habits of Mind in their work in all Key Learning Areas. They are rewarded for their efforts as part of the whole school Merit Reward Scheme where they receive a "ticket" for any habit they are showing improvement or excelling in using. Students are rewarded when they reach 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 merit tickets over the year.
