Multiple Intelligences.

Students learn in many different ways and Howard Gardner's theory of Mulitiple Intelligences allows teachers to cater for the various differences in learning styles. There are 7 different styles of learning.

Linguistic (Word) intelligence.

This is the intelligence that involves the use of spoken and written language.

Logical (Maths) intelligence.

This intelligence involves analysing and investigating problems in a mathematical way.

Musical intelligence.

This intelligence involves composing and/or performing music.

 

Kinesthetic (Body) intelligence.

This intelligence involves using the body or parts of the body to solve problems.

Spatial (Nature) intelligence.

This intelligence involves using patterns in wide or more confined natural spaces.

Interpersonal (People) intelligence.

This intelligence is the understanding of other people. It allows people to work better with each other.

Intrapersonal (Self) intelligence.

This intelligence is the understanding of yourself .
