The School Library

In Warialda Public School we are very proud to own a library that holds an estimated 9000 books. Every week each class has 1 lesson in the library.

The library is divided into 3 sections

  • Junior Fiction
  • Non Fiction
  • Fiction

Children have access to the library for half an hour Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime, where they can read quietly, play boardgames, complete jigsaws and puzzles, or participate in activities organised by our library monitors.

Every second year we have a Book Fair in our library to raise money for new resources. This Book Fair is held during Education Week. There is an opportunity for parents, students and community members to buy books for themselves or to donate to the library.

Here are pictures of our school library.
