Students can unleash their creative flair through dance and drama performances, competitions, exhibitions and enrichment programs.
Students with particular interests and talents can participate in local and statewide activities in visual arts, music, dance and drama.
The Junior band program is a partnership between Warialda High School and Warialda Public School and allows students who show a talent in music to have regular musical tuition. Each year about ten students undertake specialist tuition from Mrs Robyn Conway.
Mrs Jenny Waller and Mrs Any McIntosh provide expert tuition for students who wish to become part of our school choir. Students from stage two and three rehearse a variety of songs which they perform publically at special functions like the ‘Honey Festival' and ‘Presentation Morning'.
Every second year (odd year) students in stage two and three are invited to participate in a whole school musical production which is performed for our school community. This program encourages students to build on their acting and singing skills. Recent performances have been; 2005 – ‘Surprise Old King Cole' and ‘The Dragon Returns', 2007 – ‘Happily Ever After' and 2009 – ‘Sleeping Beauty'.
