Welcome to Kindergarten

The Kindergarten students at Warialda Public School have had a fantastic start to their schooling in 2008. The class currently has twenty students, who demonstrate their enthusiasm and enjoyment for learning on a daily basis.

This year Warialda Public School has started the Jolly Phonics Program, which helps the children read and write with increased success. The development of number skills is a major focus in Kindergarten and the students have access to SMARTboard technology to broaden their knowledge in this area. "Special Program" classes are also made available to those students who benefit from a more individualised, extension program.

Kindergarten children have been involved in numerous programs both at school and in the community such as: the Mini-Cross Country, Athletics Carnival, ANZAC Day March, Maths Bee and the Young Communicators Award.
